At college we had a guest speaker, Felicity Gardner, who is an ex-student.   She said how important it is to keep drawing everyday and keep the momentum up after leaving.  If we don't draw every day then we lose our skills very quickly.  She suggested going infer Illustration Friday which she was chosen for several times.   This week's theme is Silence.  So here is my a quick sketch of my grandson, finally asleep (blessed relief)  coloured in digitally.   Felicity Gardener is now doing books for Coles and Kmart,   Her roughs are amazing and yet she apologised for their poor quality!
